Oh the monday blues… Here’s a cheerful card to cheer the monday blues away.
Decided to participate in a new challenge called Out Of the Hat Creations! How I found out about this challenge blog was through wordpress blogger Florence. She does amazing work pieces and she’s a pro at crafting for sure! She’s one of designers from this challenge blog and you should check out her creations.
Here’s a card I’ve made for Challenge 14 SummerTime.
It’s a birthday card for my special cousin that turns 21 this month, what more to celebrate a birthday that falls in summer with kites, birds and blue clouds! Tried my best to make this card as masculine as I could, hope my cousin likes it!
This card is meant for any happy occasion but I’m using it as a happy birthday card. Hope you’ve enjoy the details of this pink-licious card 😉
Here’s their challenge respectively:
A simple equation of: simple and clean + washi tapes = …
I would say I had lots of fun with this card! I’ve got a few washi tapes and I’ve been wondering what to do with them… and embellish blog came up with the challenge with many pretty inspirational creations by their wonderful team!
Lawnscaping challenge is constantly inspiring me by showcasing all the beautiful card designs weekly, even the simple & clean cards are all so darn pretty! I have to say, the design team is always on the ball! And I simply love their challenges that they host!
Here’s a little detail on the card:

For a the RIC challenge !
This is one hard challenge but decided to give it a go! Here’s the inspiration:
I was very inspired by the pattern and grey (mostly) , gold, orange and black! Here’s my take on it!
The grey & pattern as inspired by the model. A little bit of orange on the butterfly.. Sadly, i dont own any gold paper/ glitter .. So, for the shine, i glossed the birds and butterfly! To present the shimmer in the gold (:
Here’s a new card for two challenges! First time trying out challenges from A Blog Named Hero Challenge 2 and CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 49. Here are the challenges and inspiration that got me doing them (:
A Blog Named Hero Challenge 2
CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 49
With both inspiration, i created the card “Fly By”! A simple card with a window and some decorations by the corners. Glossed up the butterfly for a dimensional touch! Added green stitch lining for a complete look (:
Inspire by lawn fawn’s Patchwork Paper Card, here’s a card I made! Suitable for any happy occasions! I’m actually using it as a birthday card! Its my very first time doing such an elaborate paper piecing so it does not look perfect but i like how patchwork paper piecing actually blends the colors together. The texture of the patchwork is pretty interesting too.
Decided to try a challenge for the first time! This card piece is for lawnscaping challenge #32 proudly sponsored by lawnfawn! WootWoot!
I created a scene with a few of lawn fawn’s stamps and greetingfarm stamp set! My first try at challenges, hope to do more as time comes! Anyway, i think i’m not very good at creating scenes, lol… Well, i gave it my best so it doesn’t look to boring!
For STAMP A SCENE challenge! Here’s my go at it:
