I’ve been looking round and still deciding if i should get a big shot or a cuttle bug? These 2 machines are the most popular I’ve seen most crafters used. Well, it’s been close over a year since I’ve started crafting and have taken this purchase into deep consideration. I know these machines are not cheap, all over a hundred dollars, that’s why I’ve been taking so long to come to a decision. I also noticed that the metal dies aren’t that cheap as well. It looks like a $300 invest for me 😀 Honestly, with that money, I could buy more stamps, copic markers and other craft stuff. Thus, I’m looking through reviews and comparison to help me facilitate my choice.
At the moment, I’m still in favor with the cuttle bug, as it is compact and sturdy. I don’t see myself needing an xtra large die plate in the future and I feel that it’s the only reason why people get the Big shot for. I normally work on cards, gift wrapping and occasionally scrap/album booking, thus I don’t see a need to emboss or cut objectives bigger than the size CB is providing.
Feel free to drop your opinions on which and why, I would love to hear your views as well (:
ps. I hope to get a decision and purchase my very first die cut machine!!
Hello! I’m back! Christmas is in 2 months times! Aren’t you excited? Cause I am, it is one of my favorite time of the year.
Do note that all christmas cards are pre-order only. If you are wondering what size of card are available, here’s the different size of cards available.
Just a quick notification… I’ll be away from now till end of October. Won’t be updating the blog for a month or so due to studies but I’ll be back by November (hopefully)!
Stay happy! Cheerio!
My latest stash from MapleTree House! I’ve finally decide to invest in a glider!!! OMG! It’s seriously BIG!!!! It’s like holding a water gun in my hands :b I decided to invest on one because it claims to be cost efficient plus… my handy tombo pit is running out soon (and I can’t find refills in stores :[). So I decided to invest on one.
Next, my memento pens! Added 2 shades of brown to my lonely black memento marker.. I have to say, this is an essential for anyone who holds copie makers 😉
Lastly, inks! New colours from jenni bowlin and memento. For J.B. inks, I got 3 new lighter shades of colours so that I can use them in backgrounds (loving the names of the inks!!) and more memento colours!
Hope to use them soon, like a kid getting new toys :b
Hey all! I came across this new site and found this image pretty helpful! As I’m still learning the basics of copic coloring, this chart can be pretty useful! Love how the colours are blended together!
Just wanted to share something interesting (: Till next time…
Hey fellow crafters! I so happen to came across this blog and she’s hosting a GIFT AWAY! How generous right? Just head over to Marie’s blog for more details. She has a cool stash for give away, so check it out! Try it out!
June came sooner than I though it’ll be! Yes, father’s day is around the corner! Here’s a card made for the special occasion this month! As I’m tied up with something at the moment, I didn’t have enough time to make more but more cards will be released after the next weekend! Be sure to keep an look out 😉
Here’s the first father’s day card to kick start this special occasion. I’m not sure why but the older men that I know seems to like taking care of plants! Yea… I have uncles that grow vegetables, my dad likes his garden and other dads keeping potted plants. So what more to give them a father’s day card with a touch of green to it!
